Our Event Management Case Study
Harold Shedd Foundation
Tempo Communications partnered with the Harold Shedd Foundation to support the June 2025 unveiling of the vision for the future Harold Shedd Music Gallery in Bremen, Ga. The event celebrated the career of legendary music producer Harold Shedd while introducing plans for a Gallery featuring interactive exhibits, educational installations, rare memorabilia and curated collections. Shedd helped shape the sound of country music through his work with artists including Alabama, Toby Keith, Shania Twain, Billy Ray Cyrus and many more.
Tempo supported the event through:
- Coordinating a media and VIP presentation unveiling the vision for the future Harold Shedd Music Gallery, followed by a private reception with Foundation leaders, community partners and invited guests.
- Securing and coordinating an on-site one-on-one interview with Emmy Award-winning journalist Monica Pearson immediately following the presentation.
- Promoting the free Georgia Music Heritage Community Celebration featuring Grammy-nominated artist and American Idol runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson, who was first discovered by Shedd at age 13.
- Developing press materials, conducting targeted media outreach and supporting event promotion before, during and following the celebration.
- Securing additional event coverage across local, regional and music industry outlets, including Times-Georgian, FOX 5 Atlanta The City Menus, Greater Haralson Chamber, and Absolute Publicity, extending awareness of the Gallery unveiling beyond the event itself.
The Harold Shedd Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving Shedd’s legacy and elevating Southern music successes. Tempo continues to work closely with the Foundation as it raises support to bring the Harold Shedd Music Gallery to fruition. That ongoing partnership includes media relations, fundraising support, social media, graphic design and website support, with Tempo Managing Principal Amy Parrish also serving as secretary on the Foundation’s board. Together, the teams continue building awareness of the Foundation’s mission and its vision for a permanent destination celebrating Southern music history.
